Colleagues give each other Badges, earn Points and redeem them for Rewards from your own catalogue.
Reports and TV dashboard

How was our CSAT over the last 30 days?
csat_overview
94% positive from 212 Ratings. Service Desk 96%, Projects 89%.
Sample: an AI assistant asking Karisto over MCP A built-in MCP server lets Claude and other AI assistants read Ratings and comments, CSAT reports, Customer summaries, Points balances and Rewards. Members connect through your own sign-in, and the assistant sees only what that Member may see. API tokens cover headless automation with the same permissions.
Autotask Surveys or Karisto?
Autotask comes with customer surveys. Here's when they'll do, and when Karisto earns its keep.†
- Rate: Autotask sends a link to a survey, for example a 1–5 rating, a choice and free text, then Submit. In Karisto, the click on a smiley in the ticket email is the rating.
- Seen: Autotask collects responses under Manage Survey Responses, in dashboard widgets and as stars on the resource page. Karisto puts the Rating on the board, credited to the tech who earned it, with Points and on the office TV.
- Follow up: Autotask can notify you with a workflow rule when a poor survey rating comes in. In Karisto, the Contact asks for a callback with one tick: it becomes a new Autotask ticket, and the Rating stays open until someone follows up.
- On top: On top: colleagues give each other Badges, the Points add up, and techs redeem them for Rewards from your own catalogue.
Example: ticket, names, survey questions and Points are made up. Each team sets its own Points and Rewards.
Autotask Surveys will do if you want
- nothing new to buy, learn or sign: they ship with Autotask
- the full questionnaire: 1–5 ratings, multiple choice, free text
- to see how you stack up against other Autotask customers
- surveys on project tasks, too
Karisto earns its keep if you want
- the click to be the rating: three smileys in the ticket email, no form to fill in
- a rating on every updated and resolved ticket, not one survey per ticket
- colleagues to thank each other with Badges, and Points for every Positive Rating
- a Rewards store where techs trade their Points for rewards from your own catalogue
- Badges that arrive on their own, on birthdays and work anniversaries
- Contests on Autotask data, ranked or chasing a team target, repeating weekly to quarterly
- techs to actually see the praise they earned, on the leaderboard and the office TV
- a Poor rating to become a to-do, not a surprise at renewal: alert, callback request, Autotask ticket
- a CSAT PDF per client in your branding, ready for the QBR
- to ask Claude how the week went: a built-in MCP server reads Ratings, reports and Points
- your data with a German company, no US parent, hosted in Germany
- all that for €1 per active Member a month, less than a coffee
A survey is homework for your client; a smiley is a reflex. We'd rather have one honest click on every ticket than five careful answers on a few. And praise is wasted until the tech who earned it sees it. If all you need is a number for the quarterly slide, Autotask Surveys will do. If you want your team to feel the feedback, that's what Karisto is for.
